3/3/10: Today Jared Christiansen visited Madison to
give a speech about job creation, healthcare, education, and energy needs for Wisconsin. While giving the speech,
Jared had a lot of surprised looks on the faces of the crowd, as if saying, "How does he know all the statistics?"
Jared in the beginning of the speech, had noted that the speech he was about to give was not the same rhetorical
speeches that many candidates give. Instead, it was about statistics and what Wisconsin can do specfically to move
forward into the future. To see him and the other candidates, see the video below.
2/12/10: Today eighteen year old governor candidate
Jared Christiansen toured the Quad Graphics facility in Sussex Wisconsin. There Jared learned how a company that
started with very little money and a lot of ambition has grown into the company that it is today, which is soon to
be the second largest public printing company. There he learned
different concepts that can be used to better our state government and to be more productive.
One of the concepts that Jared learned was treating each
employee like an individual through day care, medical centers, and fitness centers. This concept increases productivity by enabling a reduced stress
environment.
Another concept that was already established, but re-enforced,
is working together to bring in ideas from everyone. Utilizing
this we can bring bi-partisanship to Wisconsin. By using all of these concepts, not
only can we bring bi-partisanship, but it will make the government more transparent to bringing in ideas from the
working class citizen.
